About the Presenter
Shelia Sundar is a New Orleans based fiction writer, essayist, and entrepreneur. She is the founder of the Southern History Project, which is a non-profit organization focused on shaping the teaching of history in the American South through the development of human-rights centered curricula. Sundar’s writing has appeared in Crazyhorse, Guernica, the Rumpus, the New York Times, the Bookends Review, and elsewhere.
