Resources for Children & Families Now Available from the American Rescue Plan Act

Resources are now available from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) of 2021 to help children and families who need them the most. See the image for ways to access them during this window of opportunity. (Download PDF)

These federal relief funds are projected to lift more than 5 million children out of poverty this year, cutting child poverty by more than half. The funds also provide additional support for food and rental assistance, unemployment and healthcare benefits to reduce health, education and economic well-being disparities impacting children and families of color.

This once-in-a-generation opportunity not only supports people struggling in this moment, but also sets them and their communities up for a stronger future by ensuring these resources reach historically marginalized communities, and communities reeling from the economic and racial inequities exposed by the pandemic. This will require all of us coming together, sharing information and ensuring equitable access to federal relief and funding opportunities so families get the resources they need.

Please help us spread the word about these resources while they’re available.

Support our collective movement to end inequity for all people.
