Neglected Stories

Elevating Marginalized Narratives in the U.S. & Germany

In both the U.S. and Germany, important questions of how history is written, taught, and publicly contested are at the center of social issues. Navigating these conversations can lead to renewed connections, healing, and trust.

This project aims to address historic narratives, unpack long-standing issues, and serve as a learning field for exploring different memory practices and navigating challenging public discourses that shape everyday interactions between people and the communities they live in.

Participants will be in Germany from May 24 to June 2, 2024, and in the U.S. from September 5 to September 15, 2024. The deadline to apply is March 31!
